Highlights

The vast majority (80 percent) of the Cal Poly students, faculty and staff reports being “comfortable” or “very comfortable” with the university’s campus climate, and 86 percent of students are satisfied with their academic experience. But 22 percent of the Cal Poly community has experienced some form of exclusionary treatment on campus.

Next Steps

The primary incentive to take the survey was to improve the campus climate at Cal Poly. Ideally, we all enjoy and flourish in our work, but if there are reasonable improvements we can make, we should find out what they are and make them. The next step is for campus constituencies to get together to talk about the survey results and actions we can take moving forward... Read More
